Noh Eun You Born in 1983, Korea
Designer Noh Eun You has published a Korean alphabet that can phonetically represent the sound of Japanese language, and is now working on a new Korean serifed typeface, Ro Myung-che. She earned her Ph.D. from Hongik University for a study on Choi Jeong-ho’s Korean type designs. Currently she works as a researcher at Ahn Graphics Typography Institute, and teaches at Hongik University and Konkuk University.
Two by Shim Bo Seon and Noh Eun You explores “two kinds of language, two kinds of sign, two kinds of typo-theater,” capturing the ambiguity of linguistic signs presented on two different media: print and screen.
